Abstract (Awesome)

This is a word that can be used as a noun, verb or adjective. The word encapsulates the notion of “less is more”.

Ive heard it said that the whole is more than the sum of its parts.
Abstraction done well suggests the opposite: a part has the potential to say more than the sum of the parts.

This process of reducing the whole to a visually engaging summary, or abstraction, is not only an art in itself, but also a form of mental pull-ups – its sharpens my thinking & observations. Ironically abstraction helps me to simultaneously also have a clearer view of the big picture because abstraction distills anything to its essence.

Most of all, its fun!
